From HR Leader to Leadership Coach: Cultivating Leadership Excellence through Mindset Transformation

My journey from HR leader to leadership coach began unexpectedly at Starbucks, when a workshop by Bob Moawad ignited a passion in me to help others unlock their leadership potential. His message about breaking through self-imposed limitations resonated deeply, and I was inspired to guide individuals in transforming their approach to both personal and professional challenges. This passion led me to transition from human resources to leadership coaching, with the goal of helping others navigate their own growth and reach their full leadership potential.

With over 25 years of experience at companies like PwC, Apple, and Mars, I’ve had a front-row seat to the complexities of executive leadership, from making organization-wide decisions to managing global teams. My professional background allows me to understand the unique challenges faced by leaders, but what truly sets me apart is my deep empathy, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.

My coaching combines this experience with a genuine care for people, creating a space where leaders can explore the deeper issues affecting their leadership. My style is often described as a mix of radical candor and deep care—challenging leaders to dig deeper than surface-level issues and uncover their true potential. I empower my clients to find their own answers and believe in their ability to evolve as leaders.

My Coaching Philosophy

For me, true leadership isn’t about perfecting a set of skills or delivering flawless results. It’s about embracing growth, staying curious, cultivating self-awareness, and being willing to collaborate and evolve both personally and professionally.

As I often say, “Leadership isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being curious, authentic, vulnerable and leading with purpose. It’s about thriving, not just surviving.”

Through my coaching, I’ve helped countless leaders transform their careers, their teams, and their own sense of self. As my clients grow, so does my reputation as a compassionate, insightful, and impactful coach. Ultimately, leadership is about the legacy you create—one of clarity, confidence, and sustainable success. And with my guidance, that’s the legacy I help you build.

What Makes Me Unique

What makes me unique as a leadership coach is my ability to quickly build trust, listen deeply, and mirror clients’ challenges and strengths to increase self-insight and confidence. With 25 years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles at companies like Apple, Starbucks, PWC, and Mars, I bring a wealth of business acumen and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by executives. I specialize in fostering behavioral change, thought partnership, and accountability for sustainable results.

I’ve had the privilege of coaching C-suite executives, senior leaders, mid-tier and emerging leaders across various industries, always tailoring my approach to meet their specific needs. My emotional intelligence, curiosity, and empathy allow me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, creating a safe space for growth and transformation.

I’m passionate about helping people unlock their full potential, gain clarity, and build the confidence to achieve their self-identified success.

Life Outside of Coaching

When I’m not coaching, you’ll often find me on the water, enjoying time with family and friends, getting in a Pilates workout, or exploring the world through travel. I embrace life’s journey with curiosity, joy, and gratitude. These personal pursuits inspire and inform my coaching, allowing me to show up fully present for my clients.

If you're ready to elevate your leadership capabilities, navigate complex transitions, or enhance team alignment, I’d love to connect. It would be an honor to support you on your path to success.
